Spring is here

Spring has officially arrived in Durango, CO. The sun is out, the snow is melting, and people everywhere seem to have come out of hibernation. It is incredible how busy things can get so quickly and how enjoyable it is. I can hear the water of the creek rushing outside of my studio window and it helps bring creativity to my work. Soon my posts will be filled with new images as my calendar begins to fill and the smile on my face continues to grow. For now, I am content the simply write about today and the excitement of tomorrow as I enjoy the gorgeous rays of sunshine and warm weather.

Delicious @ The Ore House

An incredible time last night with the gang at The Ore House! We had some fun with fire and steaks. Luckily, I got to taste the deliciousness after the shoot. What an incredible group of people and absolutely mouth-watering food. Thank you to everyone for making my job so much fun.

Samuel

Samuel. A new friend made this week at Adaptive Sports during the Dave Spencer Ski Classic here in Durango. I was honored to take pictures and struck by the athleticism and smile of Samuel as he raced down the course. Samuel contracted polio in Nigeria where he was born. His perseverance and strength make him the man he is today. It was an honor to call him a friend after a few short days and capture one of his many accomplishments in action on the Purgatory ski slopes.
