Baby Tanley
The face of a newborn is full of more expressions than any adult I've
ever seen. Baby Tanley's face was full of curiosity as she stared at my
lens and listened to it's click, click. After being in this world for
just three weeks, she is absolutely beautiful and full of life. She had
no desire to nap, instead to tell Mom and Dad exactly how she felt about
this photo shoot :) I felt so lucky to meet and get to spend a few
hours with this amazing family and capture just a few moments that they
will hopefully be able to look back on forever.

Travis and Katie
Being a wedding photographer gives you a unique perspective most never see. All the behind the scenes and action as neither participant or bystander. I feel like I'm floating about, trying not to get in the way, while focused on capturing the evolving beauty. From getting ready to the moment they say "I do", every detail captured for the couple, family and friends to look back on later and smile.
Travis and Katie's wedding was stunning. The details blew me away while the backdrop was absolutely gorgeous. With the blessing of raindrops, a local Durango couple and all of their family and friends came together to celebrate their marriage in the best possible way.

Playing in the Rain
Dark clouds started to roll in as Trevor, Joy and I headed out to
photograph their pregnancy 10 days before the due date. The clouds
opened just after we started in a beautiful open field outside of town.
We all took this as a sign of fortune that after months of praying for
rain, drops started to fall. The happiness of Joy and Trevor was easy to
see and made time fly by as I got lost behind my lens in their love and
excitement for what lay ahead. I am so happy we were able to spend a
few hours in nature while the rain drops fell, celebrating the new life
they will soon bring into this world.
