Friends in Love

There is nothing better than photographing a best friend from college when he has found the woman of his dreams. Dan and Cori are an absolutely stunning couple and I am so happy they road tripped to Durango for our little engagement session.

I cannot wait for their wedding this Fall. What a celebration that will be! I feel so lucky I get to be there, camera in hand, to capture those memories we will all cherish forever.

Naturally Lit "Studio"

Whenever possible I love using natural light for my shoots. Usually, this involves going outdoors and finding a beautiful spot. This time of year that can be a bit tricky so working on using big windows and reflectors to create a type of natural light studio has been a fun winter project. Thank you to Sidney and her wonderful mom Casie for being my subjects for this latest practice shoot. I think babies are stunning in natural light and when conditions keep us inside, it's nice to have a natural light "studio".
