Mazel Tov in an Indian Sari

When I first met Aruna and Drew, I knew this wedding was going to be special. They were so nice from day one and as I got to know them I realized this was a very special couple. One of my favorite moments was during one of our consultations, when they told me she would be in a red Sari and during the ceremony he would stomp on a glass and everyone would yell Mazel Tov! I knew this wedding was going to be amazing :) It was.

Not only was the wedding beautiful, Aruna and Drew showed they were meant for each other. Navigating their way through some changes due to some interesting weather, they came together and handled everything together in absolute harmony. It was a beautiful thing to watch.

She took everyone's breath away in her gorgeous red Sari and he looked like the happiest man alive. The toasts from his brother and her maid of honor summed up the love of their friends and family who gathered together in Durango to celebrate their marriage.

Little Kamden Bates

I love this family. I have been privileged to be with them for most of their big life events the last few years. From their wedding, family shoot with their first son Blake, to maternity, and now the birth of their second son Kamden. Travis and Katie are not only some of my favorite clients, but good friends. Walking into their house and seeing all of the photos I have taken on their walls filled me with a sense of joy that not only was I able to be there, but I captured memories and moments they can look at and remember forever.

So, welcome little Kamden. You are one lucky little guy and I can't wait to see you grow up.

The girls in the garden

Isla now has a little sister. Baby Emi was just a few weeks old when her mom Jaime and I took her into a beautiful garden to photograph her and her big sis. This garden is special as it is my mother-in-law's and I have spent a lot of time admiring it. The beauty she has created was the perfect backdrop to photograph this new little angel. A special thank you to Sharon for letting us use her beautiful garden and to Jaime for being adventurous enough to help me photograph her new little one outside in the flowers and trees.
