Baby Bates

What an amazing little guy :) Ellis Bates was born October 22nd at 8lbs, 1oz. I met him a little over a week later and was smitten. He was angelic and seemed right at home in his beautiful nursery that his mom and dad took so much care putting together. What an incredible family this is and such a lucky guy to be born into so much love. Thank you Marisa and Ethan for letting me photograph your handsome baby boy. You two are already amazing parents and I know he will grow up happy to be a member of the bates' family.

Little Miss Southern Ute

Ollyvia and her mother Marquetta met me on a beautiful Fall afternoon to take pictures for her year as Little Miss Southern Ute. Ollyvia's smile combined with her beautiful regalia made for an incredible afternoon. Most of the bead work and clothing was made by her mother and I was in awe. I could see right away why this amazing little girl was chosen to represent her tribe in the coming year. Being photographed isn't easy, especially for a 6 year old, but Ollyvia was perfect and never lost her smile. What an honor and privilege to photograph such an inspiring young girl and to see the dedication and talents of her mother. I wish them both all the best in the coming year.

Jeremy and Cori

This small, backyard wedding was so intimate and heartfelt it was hard not to get teary as this couple said their vows. They also thanked every attendant individually and really made everyone, including myself, feel so honored to witness such a special event.

Jeremy and his family were my neighbors growing up and his family and mine have always been close. When he asked me to photograph his wedding, I was so grateful. His mom is one of the sweetest people and I absolutely adore his family. His new wife Cori is a wonderful person and I know she and Jeremy are going to be very happy together. They are, as everyone who spoke at the wedding pointed out, perfect for one another :)
