Aline and Jeff

Durango is a small town and I love it. As a wedding photographer, I get to photograph some of the people I grew up with on their special day. That small town/grew up together connection runs pretty deep. For example, how I know Aline. I played volleyball with her sister Muriel since we were in Middle School. I photographed her mother's wedding two years ago and hung out with her step-brothers in high school. There are a hundred more connection but you get the idea.

When Aline and Jeff asked me to photograph their wedding I was thrilled. I love these two and after their engagement session I couldn't have been more excited for their wedding day. We went out to a field and sat in the car talking as a monsoon passed over us. After, we had the most beautiful sky and played in the tall grass with their dog. It was perfect.

Their wedding day was beautiful. Tears of joy and stories of their love from friends and family combined with a gorgeous scenery at Blue Lake Ranch. It's not often the bride asks me how I'm doing and the mother of the bride makes sure we ate :) I am so grateful to this bride and groom and their incredible family. I hope these images bring back the love and joy of that very special day. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of it.

Congratulations
