An Elopement at Blue Lake Ranch

I drove up to Blue Lake to meet this couple on the day of their elopement. I was a little nervous at being the only witness to this special event and not having met them before. That all faded away the instant I met them. These two were radiant and I knew immediately this was going to be one of the most special events I had ever photographed.

They said their vows on a dock overlooking the lake. The storm had cleared and the sun was shining through a beautiful layering of clouds. It was so intimate and romantic I had a hard time keeping my eyes clear. These two did it their way and every moment of it felt perfect.
